Range Access and Safety Compliance
All persons entering or using the range must follow all posted range rules, all staff instructions, and all commands issued by range officers immediately and without exception. Safety is the highest priority, and failure to comply may result in denial of service, removal from the facility, suspension of privileges, loss of membership benefits, or permanent restriction from future use.
All firearms must be handled safely at all times. Firearms must remain pointed in a safe direction and downrange while on the firing line. Users must keep their finger off the trigger until ready to fire, use only the correct ammunition for the firearm being used, and ensure that any firearm brought onto the premises is in safe operating condition.
Firearms should only be unpacked at the designated shooting stall unless otherwise directed by staff. When not in use, firearms must remain unloaded, secured, and inaccessible to unauthorized persons. Shooters may only fire at their designated target and may not intentionally damage target carriers, rail systems, facility equipment, walls, ceilings, floors, barriers, or any other property.
If a cease-fire is called, all shooting must stop immediately. Firearms must be placed down safely, shooters must step back from the firing line, and no firearm may be handled again until a range officer gives the all-clear.
Protective Equipment, Dress, and Conduct
Eye and ear protection are required at all times inside the shooting area. Closed-toe shoes are required. Clothing must be appropriate for safe shooting activity, including upper-body coverage sufficient to reduce the risk of injury from hot brass.
Food, drinks, gum, tobacco products, alcohol, illegal drugs, and any intoxicating substances are not permitted in the range area. No person may use the range, handle firearms, or participate in classes, rentals, or shooting activities while impaired, under the influence, or behaving in an unsafe, reckless, threatening, or disruptive manner.
Stone Hart’s Gun Club & Indoor Range reserves the right to refuse service to any person whose conduct, condition, or behavior is unsafe, unlawful, abusive, or inconsistent with the safe operation of the facility.
Minors
Minors are subject to age restrictions, safety rules, and supervision requirements established by Stone Hart’s Gun Club & Indoor Range and applicable law. Any minor permitted to shoot must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and the parent or guardian must remain responsible for the minor at all times.
Stone Hart’s Gun Club & Indoor Range reserves the right to require age verification, parental documentation, signed waivers, and direct adult supervision as a condition of participation by any minor.
Waivers and Assumption of Risk
Use of a shooting range, firearms, ammunition, rentals, classes, and related services involves inherent risks, including the risk of serious bodily injury, permanent disability, property damage, emotional distress, and death. By entering the facility, participating in any activity, or using any service, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with firearms-related activities to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Stone Hart’s Gun Club & Indoor Range may require one or more waivers, releases, acknowledgments, or assumption-of-risk documents before allowing access to the range, classes, rentals, or related services. Execution of required documents is a condition of participation. Refusal to sign required documents may result in denial of access or service.
Firearm Rentals, Ammunition, and Equipment
Rental firearms, safety equipment, and related services are offered subject to availability, safety review, staff approval, and compliance with all applicable policies and legal requirements. Stone Hart’s Gun Club & Indoor Range reserves the right to deny any rental request in its sole discretion.
Only ammunition approved by the range may be used in the facility. Certain calibers, round types, brands, or ammunition categories may be prohibited or restricted at any time for safety, facility protection, insurance, or operational reasons. Users are responsible for ensuring that all firearms and ammunition brought into the facility are lawful, appropriate, and approved for range use.
Any damage caused by misuse of firearms, ammunition, equipment, targets, target systems, lanes, ventilation systems, walls, barriers, or other property may be charged to the responsible customer.
Rapid Fire, Holster Draw, and Advanced Handling
Rapid fire, holster draw, movement-based drills, and other advanced shooting activities are not automatically permitted. These activities may only be performed when expressly authorized by Stone Hart’s Gun Club & Indoor Range and only by individuals who have satisfied the applicable qualification, evaluation, equipment, and safety requirements established by the facility.
Authorization for advanced handling activities may be suspended or revoked at any time if staff determine that continued participation is unsafe or inappropriate.
Classes, Instruction, Memberships, and Reservations
Classes, private instruction, memberships, reservations, appointments, gift card services, and similar offerings may be subject to separate terms, pricing, scheduling rules, availability limits, eligibility requirements, cancellation policies, expiration terms, and operational restrictions.
Membership does not guarantee unlimited access, uninterrupted operations, preferred scheduling, or access during maintenance, emergencies, private events, training blocks, capacity restrictions, policy updates, or staff-directed closures. All benefits are subject to change.
Outside instructors, private training arrangements, or commercial instruction conducted at the facility may require prior approval, proof of licensing, proof of insurance, and compliance with all management requirements.
Retail Sales, Transfers, and Firearm Purchases
All firearm sales, transfers, ammunition sales, regulated items, and related transactions are subject to applicable law, age restrictions, identification requirements, paperwork requirements, background checks, waiting periods where applicable, inventory availability, and final approval.
Submission of an order, inquiry, or transfer request does not guarantee approval, completion, or delivery. Stone Hart’s Gun Club & Indoor Range reserves the right to refuse, delay, cancel, or decline any sale, transfer, special order, layaway, or transaction where required by law, policy, safety concerns, documentation issues, supplier issues, or business judgment.
